    I heard that the Value Resorts now have coffee makers in the room. Is this true? Last posted response was from 2008. Also, is it worth it to upgrade to a preferred room at POP century? Thank you.

    Hi Rebecca,

    Thanks for your question. I can't speak for all the value resorts, but I was just at Pop Century last week, and a coffeemaker had not been added to our room there. To my knowledge, that amenity is still reserved for moderate and deluxe resorts.

    My family stays at Pop Century often, and we never spend the extra money for a preferred room. We always request to be in the '50s section, which puts you close to Classic Hall, the bus stops and the Hippy Dippy Pool. The only parts of Pop Century that I find somewhat inconvenient are the '80s and '90s sections. On the other hand, I find those to be the quietest buildings, so it depends on what is most important to you.
