I've heard that you used to be able to buy Disney towels and get them embroidered. Does this still happen? if so where?

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Kelly!

You're as welcome as can be here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, so thanks for visiting us. Since shopping is one of my many talents, I'd love to help you with your Disney Parks merchandise question!

I just love that so many items in the parks and on shopDisney.com can be personalized with high-quality embroidery. Everyone is familiar with getting those classic Mickey Mouse ear hats embroidered with names, but there are a variety of other items you can also get personalized in the parks and online. You can personalize baseball hats, Christmas stockings, shirts, blankets, aprons, and yes, even towels as well as so much more. The best spots in the Walt Disney World Resort to get embroidery done are Disney's Wonderful World of Memories in Disney Springs, The Chapeau, Big Top Souvenirs, and Fantasy Faire of Magic Kingdom Park, and MouseGear in Epcot. I always make sure to ask the Cast Members at the embroidery area if an item can be embroidered before purchasing it. Also, know that you must provide the item with current receipt to have it embroidered in the parks. If searching online at shopDisney.com from home, make sure you search the item you are looking for and "personalizable" to see items that can be embroidered.

I hope this helps, and don't hesitate to return if you have any other vacation-planning questions. See ya real soon!
