Hi again Lindsay,
It’s wonderful to see you again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I’m telling you, based on some of your previous questions, it sounds like you’re planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort that is hitting several of my “must dos” for every trip. One of those essentials is hitting up
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! Not only are the drinks and eats yummy, but you’re absolutely right that the playful atmosphere is well worth a visit. It’s probably one of the most intricately themed lounges in all of Walt Disney World Resort, so be sure to take a look around at all of Trader Sam’s treasures.
As for how to pay for your libations once you’re done, you can use any method you’d like, including cash, a
Disney Gift Card, or room charge if you’re staying in a
Disney Resort Hotel. As a fellow Canadian, I’d say that it depends on how you prefer to pay for your visit overall. If you’d like to have the amount that you’re going to spend “locked in” at the beginning, in order to avoid exchange rate woes when it comes time to pay your credit card, then perhaps pre-loading a Disney Gift Card would be the perfect way to know exactly how much spending money you’ll have during your visit. If, like me, you prefer to charge everything to your room and then just have a lump sum charged to your credit card when you check out, that’s fine too.
As always, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
