Hi! I have heard there are “theme nights” during the cruise… we cannot seem to find them on our app. We depart our of San Diego on March 20 for Mexico. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi there, Cory! Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for your question. The countdown to your cruise on the Disney Wonder is on!

In just a few short weeks you'll be stepping aboard for fun and adventure. I can't wait for you to make priceless memories with your family. It's about time to pack for those adventures, so I can understand why you are wondering if there are any specific themed events set for your cruise.

You are correct that these events are not yet displayed in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. It's not until you board your Disney Cruise that the app will display the entire itinerary for your sailing. So what's a planner to do? Ask your planDisney panelist friends of course! I'm happy to help. I reached out to a Guest Service agent via the Live Chat feature on the Disney Cruise Line website to inquire about themed nights on your sailing. At this time, it appears that no specific themed nights are scheduled. I was informed that the suggested dress attire for one evening of your voyage will be semi-formal. The semi-formal suggestion is completely optional, so plan to wear what suits your family best. Some families choose to dress in "cruise casual" attire every night and that is always welcome. "Cruise casual" simply means no swimwear or tank tops in the dining rooms.

While it may be a bit of a disappointment that there won't be a Pirate Night on your upcoming voyage, there will definitely be plenty of wonderful activities happening all around the ship to keep you entertained. Be sure to look through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are onboard, and "favorite" the activities that you don't want to miss! The app will send you a reminder about when and where to go just before these activities begin.

Cory, your time on the Disney Wonder is soon approaching. Be sure to read over the Updated Experiences Guide on the Disney Cruise Line website as changes to rules regarding face coverings have recently been updated. I hope you have an amazing experience sailing with the Disney Cruise Line. Please reach out again if you have more questions. It's a pleasure to help!

Bon voyage to you and your sailing crew!
