I heard about a theater in MK that runs continuous Mickey cartoons. If it's still open, where is it located & is it busy? I was looking for a good place to go so my 5 year old could take a break.

    Hi, Lora!

There used to be a cute theater on Main Street, appropriately named the Main Street Cinema,  that ran classic Disney cartoons like Steamboat Willie.  The outside still looks like an old-fashioned movie theater, but it is now just a retail shop.

You can find other quiet ways for a break.  Take a spin (or 2 or 3) on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority in Tomorrowland.   The Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square is another nice way to take a break from the sun. For a nice, shady porch with rocking chairs, head over to Tom Sawyer Island where you can kick back and relax away from the activity of the park.  Another hide-away is on the second floor of the quick service location Columbia Harbor House in Liberty Square.  If you go after lunch time, this area is often very quiet.  Get a snack and head upstairs for a bit of relaxation.

Taking a break is a great idea for everyone in your family!  After some nice down-time, you can hop back into the magic!  I hope you find a nice place to relax.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
