    I've heard that strollers are available for purchase at WDW. Is this correct and do you know the cost? Also, do you have any knowledge on renting a stroller from another source, such as Orlando Stroller Rental?

    Strollers are indeed available to buy at most Disney resort shops and in various ones in the Parks.  They are the umbrella type made by Kolcraft.  The cost is $53.20 which includes tax.  Also available for purchase is a small clip on fan at the cost of $15.96.

    All Disney parks and Downtown Disney Marketplace also rent strollers but they are not allowed to be removed back to the resorts.  The cost is $15 per day.

    There are a few stroller rental companies in the Orlando area.  I have not used them but one that was recommended is Family Rentals, 407-909-0042.  Orlando Stroller Rentals also comes with high praise from many people who have shared their experiences.  You can get more information about this company at www.orlandostrollerrentals.com or by calling their number, 800-281-0884.  Both will have resort drop-off and pick-up.

    When selecting a stroller remember that traveling by Disney bus can be a challenge if you choose one that is too large.  The bus drivers deal with the issue daily as by Florida law they cannot move a bus without all strollers and wheel chairs being folded up or secured.  The wheel chairs have a special section but the strollers do not.  Many families tend to use the large strollers as their carry alls. Facing the task of having to unload and fold it up before the bus can depart is a daunting experience for many.  The best advice is to choose something that is efficient for you but also very easy to manipulate.
