Hey there, James Raymond, and welcome to planDisney!

When it comes to a Walt Disney World vacation, there's nothing more precious than time! Quality time with family, time to unwind at your resort, and of course, time to explore all the magic and wonder of Disney World's incredible theme parks. My family and I have been so fortunate to return to Disney World again and again. But no matter how many times we've been (or how long we stay!), we're always trying to squeeze just a little more time out of our visits.

Fortunately, there are lots of ways to maximize your time in The Most Magical Place on Earth, and if you're staying at The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, you'll have access to not one, but two, of the best! As a registered guest at either of these resorts, you'll enjoy two massive perks: Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Both of these offer a serious advantage when it comes to making the most of your trip, so it's important you know how they work.

First, let's take a look at Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. This perk is available exclusively to guests of Disney World's deluxe resorts, deluxe villa resorts, and other select hotels. The keyword for you here is "other select hotels" - because this does include The Walt Disney World Dolphin! With Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, you'll get extra hours in the park after the park officially closes. Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are offered at select parks on select nights, so you'll want to keep an eye on the Walt Disney World Hours & Events Calendar as you get closer to your trip. Not only is this a great chance to hit the parks with fewer crowds, but there's really nothing more magical than strolling through the parks at night!

Of course, if you're taking advantage of those Extended Evening Hours (and I highly suggest that you do!), you might find yourself feeling a little sluggish in the mornings. Still, Early Theme Park Entry is worth setting that alarm! With Early Theme Park Entry, you can enter any of Disney World's four theme parks 30 minutes before the park opens, every day of your visit. To use this benefit to your fullest advantage, be sure to double-check those park opening times and show up a few minutes before that 30-minute mark. Your reward will be shorter wait times, fewer crowds, and plenty of extra Disney magic.

There's one more thing I'd like to mention before I go, James Raymond. If Frozen Ever After or Remy's Ratatouille Adventure are on your Disney World wish list, you can beat the crowds by entering EPCOT through the park's rear entrance (also known as the International Gateway) for Early Theme Park Entry. To get there, follow the walking path past Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort and toward the Disney Skyliner station. Once you're inside the park, hang a right towards the France pavilion, and you'll be scurrying through Gusteau's kitchen in no time!

I hope this information is helpful, James Raymond, and that your stay at The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin is filled to the brim with magic! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find us right here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,

    Allison
