Hi, I have heard that if you are staying on Disney property you can make your ADRs at 180+10 from the date of check-in? If booking is linked to your My Disney Experience account will the system allow you to do this automatically?

Hey, Emily! Thanks for stopping by to check with us about your question. What you heard is indeed correct, but I want to clarify it for you so you understand better how it works. When you book your Walt Disney World Resort reservation, you will want to link it to your My Disney Experience account. This way, the system will recognize that you are eligible for certain benefits when booking your Advance Dining Reservations and FastPass+ selections.

The 180 + 10 day Advance Dining Reservation booking window begins when you are 180 days from your date of resort check-in. At that time, the system will highlight dates in the calendar that include your length of stay, up to ten days. You will be able to make Advance Dining Reservations for your entire stay (if it is ten days or less in length) all on that day! This can really help you get a spot at some great dining locations! Note that if your resort stay is longer than ten days, then the booking window will only initially allow ten days of available booking, but when you get to 180 days away from the eleventh day, it will then open for booking. The calendar will keep "walking forward" so you can eventually get all days of your stay covered.

Emily, occasionally the system does have trouble and the length of stay does not automagically appear. I have had this happen a couple of times. It really was no problem and I simply called the Advance Dining Reservation line when they opened at 7:00 a.m. to get my confirmations. If you have any more questions about how the 180 + 10 works, please let me know! I hope you have a magical day.
