I heard that they have started a fastpass for the Frozen Royal Reception at Disneyland in Early September? We are coming next month so wonder if it was a trial or if this is a permanent thing. Mother of a small Frozen fan needs to plan accordingly. Thanks.

    Hi there Tiffany,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad to hEAR you have an upcoming trip planned to visit The Happiest Place on Earth!

It seems as though the cold doesn't bother many Guests since so many were headed to the Frozen Royal Reception. There has been no official announcement at this point whether the new Frozen Character Experience Return Time will be permanent. I would plan on this still being in effect during your visit. I like to check the for all news regarding all Disney Parks, you will find "warm hugs" and magical updates.

Here's how it works so your little frosty fan will not spin into a frozen fractal out of sheer excitement to see the sisters from Arendelle: Guests will now want to head straight over to the Cast Member waiting by the Frozen Royal Reception to receive a new Frozen Character Experience Return Time, this is a new method to decrease wait times with a 20 minute window to return. I do suggest you arrive early to receive one of these Frozen Character Experience Return Times because, like Disney's FASTPASS, these will run out after a certain amount have been distributed for the day.

I hope this helps. Please write us back if you have any more questions before your trip to the Disneyland Resort.

Sending you pixie dust on your "royal pursuit" at the Disneyland Resort!
