I heard there is somewhere in Epcot that you can select a pearl. Can you please describe to me how this process works and where I can find out the cost for doing this? I have two little girls and was considering pre-buying them necklaces to hold the pearls

You most certainly heard right Jill because indeed you can 'hunt' for pearls hidden within oysters at Mitsukoshi Merchandise Store within the Japan Pavilion at Epcot.
Pick-a-pearl from as little as under $20 from any oyster in the tank; who knows which colour or size of pearl you'll get!
You and your little darlings will delight in 'discovering' hidden pearl treasures, perhaps then your daughters could also choose a unique jewellery setting which will become a very memorable and uniquely personal souvenir of your time spent at Walt Disney World.
Of course you can opt to take your pearly booty home and have it set in a pre-bought necklaces.
    Have a great Disney Day!
