I heard somewhere there is a benefit to putting a credit on your stateroom before you get on board, but I can't find anything about it. Is there something?

    Hello Tenaya,

Thanks so much for sailing by!  I think what you are referring to is one of two things.  First, it is recommended and very convenient to link a credit card to your stateroom account while you complete your online check-in before sailing.  Disney Cruise Line is cashless on board.  All charges are sent to your stateroom folio.  If you have a credit card linked to this folio, it becomes very easy to charge your shore excursions, souvenirs, etc. throughout your sailing.  At the end of your sailing, the balance will simply be charged to the credit card on file and you won't need to settle your account at Guest Services.  The other thing you may be referring to is the benefit of booking a new cruise or a placeholder for a future sailing while you are on board.  By doing so, you can enjoy a reduced deposit as well as a lovely discount on a future sailing.

    I hope this helps!
