I've heard something about renting DVC points for a villa? Does anyone know the best way to go about doing this? How soon in advance can you look into this? Thanks.

    Hi Kim,

I am a member of the Disney Vacation Club, which is a type of time share administrated through Disney.  It specifically states in our contract that no member is allowed to rent points or exchange points with another person for money.

If you search through the internet you may be able to find someone who is willing to do this, but it is against the policy.  You will need to decide for yourself whether you are willing to enter into a business relationship with an individual you meet over the web.  You can book the same villas through WDW via www.disney.com or through your own travel agent.

    Good luck
