I've heard that the snack credit on the dining plan can normally be used on any food item, except alcohol, under $4. Possibly even snacks at Food & Wine Fest. Is this true? Also, how can we tell at a food counter that a food counts towards a snack cred

    Hi Amy,

I just returned from our family trip to WDW. Most items eligible for snack credits are marked with the purple Disney Dining Plan logo. This includes bakery items, small treats such as lollipops in resort and theme park stores, ice cream, and items at the 2011 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.

A great source for Food and Wine information is at www.disneyfoodblog.com. All of the menu items are listed there along with which delicious offerings can be purchased with your snack credit.

    Here's a few examples:
    • Goofy's Candy Co. 8 oz bagged candy, cotton candy and lollipops up to $3.95 in price can be purchased with a snack credit
    • All items including the $4.49 Pineapple Float at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom
    • Ice cream novelties
    • Gourmet caramels and caramel popcorn at Karamel Kuche in Epcot
    • Many of the menu items at the Food and Wine Festival including Canadian Chedder Cheese Soup in Canada, Escargots in France, and Swedish Meatballs in Scandinavia
    Happy dining!
