I have heard and seen some news about the ability to check into my resort 10 days before I even get to WDW? Can I make any special requests online ? Where do I get my room key? Can you tell me more about this process? Thanks

Anthony, you must be referring to the new online check-in system which is expected to debut in early 2009.  Unfortunately, I don't have a date as to when it will be up and running, but keep checking

The new online check-in system will allow you to check in and register at your hotel ten days prior to your arrival.  You will be able to confirm your reservation and enter any special requests, and when you arrive at the resort, a welcome kit, including your room key, will be available for you at a designated location.

We are all looking forward to this system being available, as it will surely simplify travel to Walt Disney World even more!

    Enjoy your vacation!
