I have heard rumors that guests will be allowed to wear costumes and cosplay in Galaxy's Edge (Gosh I REALLY hope so!). Does anyone know of any rules or guidelines to use? What about props like Lighstabers, Blasters, or Thermal detonators?

Hey, Lance and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I feel a disturbance in the Force. There has been an awakening. Have you felt it?  We recently received a transmission from an undercover operative stationed in Oga's Cantina on planet Batuu.

Let me increase power to relay the information from droid DJ R-3X (DJ REX):

Smugglers, bounty hunters, profiteers, and traders have gathered at the local establishments to mingle, bargain, sell their wares, and pick up secrets. Whether the visitors and occupants are loyal to the First Order or the Resistance is shrouded in secrecy. Watch your back. Currently, visitors from Coruscant, Naboo, Tatooine, and Earth must follow the standard dress code established by the Ancient Order of the Whills and Walt Disney World Resort. Lightsabers are allowed and fresh kyber crystals of all colors may be found at Savi's Workshop as they help channel the Force from the user to the lightsaber. All other items that look like weapons should be left in your transport. Please stay in touch with the Disney Parks Blog for more information regarding uniforms and accessories at the Black Spire Outpost at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

Disney Dad Tip: Bring a small trinket such as a rubber ball or slinky to trade with the questionable lifeforms while maneuvering the rugged roads of Black Spire Outpost. You may even see some Jawas eager to do business. Utiniii!

Lance, may the Force be with you.
