    I heard a rumor that there was going to be a Beauty and the Beast character dinning restaurant, is that true? I'd love to take my mom as surprise.

    Hi Jacklin,

    Yes, that glorious rumor is true!  Woo-hoo!  Can you tell I'm excited to dine there? 

    The Be Our Guest Restaurant is part of the ongoing Fantasyland expansion project in the Magic Kingdom. Click on the link in the previous sentence to see beautiful concept art showing some of the plans for the restaurant.

    Coincidentally, as I was speaking with a Cast Member about Disney dining reservations earlier today I asked her if they were accepting reservations for the Be Our Guest Restaurant yet.  Unfortunately, they are not. Advance dining reservations can only be made 180 days in advance of your vacation and this restaurant is not currently slated to open until early 2013.  Of course, construction schedules are always subject to change so I'm hopeful this dining experience will become available to guests even sooner than that.  We'll see.

    I do hope that you and your mother will be able to dine at Be Our Guest in the near future.
