Hi there, Kimberly! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are getting excited for your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! The
Holidays are now underway which means both parks are completely decked out in festive garland and twinkling lights. It’s a truly dazzling time to visit!
I haven’t heard that you can take your damaged poncho back to a store to be replaced. However, I do know that the Disneyland Resort has outstanding Guest Relations and go above and beyond to make sure that every Guest is happy, so I suggest calling the Disney Merchandise Guest Services line at (877) 560-6477 to see what options you may have. And if you happen to still have the original receipt, it’s a good idea to have that handy when you call.
One great thing about sunny southern California is that it doesn’t rain very often. So it’s quite possible that you won’t need any rain gear during your trip. If you planned to wear your poncho on
Grizzly River Run then you might be pleased to know that there are now warming/drying stations located by the attraction. For a small fee, you can hop in to dry off after a soaking journey through the raging rapids. Also, as a fun and unique offer during the month of November, Guests who ride the attraction after 5:00 p.m. can receive a special “White Winter Rapids” button (while supplies last) as a reward for their bravery!
I hope this information was helpful. Have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
