I've heard that reservations aren't firm - that you may have to wait a while for a table, etc. even with a reservation. So if we have a reservation at 4:30 for lightsaber building, Will we make a dinner reservation in DHS at 5:35?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Barry!

It sounds like you're pretty excited about your upcoming trip to the planet Batuu this fall. I'm sure the weather in Black Spire Outpost is beautiful at that time of year! How cool that you've got reservations at Savi's Workshop to build your own lightsaber so you can harness the power of the Force. The First Order is keeping a really close eye on the area, so ask some local residents where to find some "scrap metal" when it's time to check-in for your reservation.

Speaking of reservations, the reservations for Savi's Workshop work slightly differently than when you book a table for dinner. When it comes to dining reservations, sometimes you may have to wait a little bit when you first check-in before you're taken to your table. Guests are welcome to stay and enjoy their meals at their leisure, so sometimes it means that a table isn't ready at the exact moment you arrive. Think of your reservation for Savi's Workshop as more of a ticket to a show, where your experience will begin promptly at 4:30. You'll want to arrive 15 minutes in advance as well to check-in and choose the type of lightsaber you're going to build. Then, the "Gatherers" will bring you into the Workshop at your reservation time where they will guide you, and the up to 13 other guests with reservations at the same time as you, through the process of crafting your lightsaber. The experience should take around 20 to 30 minutes, so I think you'll probably have plenty of time to make it to your 5:35 dining reservation once you're done!

May the Force be with you, Barry!
