    I heard that there have been some recent changes made to Hollywood Studios rope drop. Is it true that CM's no longer hold crowds at the Sorcerer's Hat, instead allowing them to proceed directly to their chosen ride after the turnstiles open?

    Hi Eric.

    Last month when we were at Disney's Hollywood Studios there was no rope drop. Guests entered through the turnstiles and headed to popular attractions such as Jedi Training Academy and Toy Story Mania. A Cast Member I spoke to did not know if this opening procedure was temporary or permanent. You might want to check with a Cast Member when you arrive to see how Disney's Hollywood Studios is opening when you visit. I am curious to see how opening will be handled when we are there for a Star Wars Weekend.
