I heard that the Rainforest Room is now open and restriction-free as of April 2022. I am planning a cruise for 2023; how do day passes and full-cruise reservations work now that the Rainforest Room is fully up and running? Can I reserve before the cruise?

Ahoy there, Kate! Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm so glad you sailed by with your question about your planned cruise next April! That time of year ranks around 3rd place on my family's list of our favorite times to cruise, so you're on the podium when it comes to that! 2023 is sure to be an exciting year, with the Disney Wish nearing a full year of service, and with all the exciting other things on the horizon, you'll be right in the middle of the action!

I've never been one for massages, but the Rainforest Room is definitely one of my favorite spots on the ship! It's honestly one of the most relaxing spaces I've been on any vacation! I know most people love the heated loungers, but I'm one of those crazy Guests that really enjoy heading to the steam room and then cooling off under the aromatherapy showers! The colder the shock the better!

You must have received reports from a seagull friend on the inside - yes, the Rainforest Room no longer requires you to rent the entire room out as you had to during the beginning of Disney Cruise Line's Return to Sailing!  Now, you can simply contact a crew member by phone to call and reserve day passes ahead of your sail date! Or if you'd like, you can wait until embarkation day, but I definitely suggest you head straight to the Senses Spa & Salon right after you climb aboard - even before you swing by Cabanas for that legendary embarkation day lunch!

If you're looking to indulge your...well, senses...even more by purchasing the length-of-cruise Rainforest Room pass, that will have to wait until you get aboard. Again, you'll want to head straight to Deck 9, Forward if you're on the Disney Magic or Disney Wonder, and Deck 11, Forward if you're on the Disney Fantasy or Disney Dream! OH, and if you're planning on the Disney Wish...we're still waiting for the final magical information about what specifics we can expect from the newest Senses Spa & Salon, but what I DO know is you'll want to head to Deck 5, Forward, past the Grand Hall!

Ooh, your question has me feeling like Simba: "I just can't wait to be king" of the Rainforest Room again! Though with my hair, it's probably more like Tarzan, I suppose! In any case, I hope that helps you get ready to sit back, relax, and take in the multiple levels of relaxation the Rainforest Room gives Guests! Thank you so much for your question, Kate! If any others bubble to the surface as you continue planning, please drop me another line here at planDisney!

Until then, I wish you fair winds and following seas!
