I heard the pressed penny machine are being phased out of the parks. We were planning on doing pressed pennys as souvenirs for our October 2017 trip. Will the pressed penny machines be gone by then?

Hello Sara and thanks for bringing your valued question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Each and every one of my own 4 children (even the youngest, who is almost 15 years old now!) still gets a thrill from pressing and collecting shiny pennies or quarters from the many different and unique Coin Press Machines at Walt Disney World Resort - it's truly a family tradition for us!
To the very best of my knowledge I'm not aware that the Coin Press Machines are being phased out of Walt Disney World Resort and I certainly hope they would still be there for both you, me and every other Disney Guest for a long while yet.
However, it's always worth bearing in mind that most things are subject to change at Walt Disney World Resort.
Wishing you a magical October visit to Walt Disney World Resort where dreams and wishes really can come true.
    Have a great Disney day.
