I have heard that The Plaza Resturant in Magic Kindgom does not do ADR for dinner. If we cannot do ADR dinner res can we put our name on the list for a specific times? Just we really love this place and we really would like to go back there.

    Hi Denise!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The Plaza Restaurant is a great place in Magic Kingdom to enjoy a tasty meal during your magical day. Just like my fellow panelist Wilma described in her previous answer, The Plaza Restaurant has made some changes to allow for more walk-up availability. I wanted to get some additional information on how this policy works, so I called Walt Disney World Resort Dining. Currently, The Plaza Restaurant is accepting reservations for lunch, generally 11:00 a.m. - 2:55 p.m. That means that all of dinner is walk-up only. So for your trip, if you would like to enjoy dinner at The Plaza Restaurant, simply head to the restaurant to see what availability they have for the evening. My understanding of the policy is that the restaurant is only taking walk-up Guests for dinner, but you can always check in earlier in the day just to make sure there isn't a list or to get the Cast Member's tips on the best time to "walk-up" to enjoy dinner with the shortest wait time.

Keep in mind that things are always subject to change, so I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest information before your trip and be sure to come back to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have additional questions! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
