Hello there again Toni and welcome back to planDisney!
Toni, from Louisiana native to another, I know how sacred food is. I also know we're a tough crowd to please. As people that were born in the land of gumbo and beignets, we do not play about what we eat. And so it is my pleasure to give you a few of my favorite dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort.
As I mentioned in our last talk,
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' is the bee's knees. I've never tasted a single thing at this down-home eatery that I didn't immediately fall in love with. I have to warn you, the portions are ginormous so be careful not to let your eyes get bigger than your stomach can handle. I've been known to get the thigh-high chicken biscuits(appetizer) and mama's mac and cheese(side) with no entree and still not be able to finish it all. And that white peach sangria is the cocktail of my dreams.
For a good time with flavors from far away, add
Sanaa to your list of
Advanced Dining Reservations. First of all the Indian-style bread service is the star player on the menu. 5 types of bread and 9 sauces will keep your taste buds for as long as it lasts on the table(which won't be long). The butter chicken is absolutely delicious and the ambiance is even more delicious. And don't skip dessert. The kheer is some of the best rice pudding I've ever had and lives rent-free in my head.
Toni, have a great time on your culinary tour of The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!
Happy planning!
Taylor
