    I had heard that there is a way to have a picnic lunch in the Animal Kingdom. Is that true and how do you go about setting that up?

    Hi Michelle! Disney's Animal Kingdom Park offers a meal program called Picnic in the Park seasonally. The program began in April 2009 and allows guests to purchase a meal for the family in a reusable bag. Guests can eat in several Picnic Spots throughout Animal Kingdom Park. You can place your order at the podium at Island Mercantile Shop on Discovery Island from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm daily. Payment is due at the time of order and meals count as Quick Service Meals for the Disney Dining Plan. Pick-up is two hours after your order is placed and is located at Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery.
