I have heard that some people get an autograph book for characters to sign. I saw something about a line for mickey. Do all characters have lines to wait in to get a photo and autograph?

You won't be able to find every single Disney character there ever was out and signing autographs, Darlene.  But the good news is that you most certainly will be able to find quite a few of them.  Each park has meet and greet opportunities with a wide variety of characters.  These opportunities will be listed in the Times Guide; in it, you'll find detailed information on when and where to say hello to Disney's most popular faces (furry and otherwise).  You'll also likely "happen upon" a number of character greetings by chance while you tour the parks.  Do be sure to take your place in line as soon as possible because even the characters get tired and can't stick around all day.

You can purchase an autograph book from the Disney Store online before you leave home, or you can pick one up from one of the merchandise locations at the Walt Disney World Resort.  They are widely available.  Of course, you are more than welcome to create one yourself and have the characters sign it instead.  Your choice.  Enjoy your trip!
