Hello there, Patricia! It looks like a magical vacation is in your future and we're so glad you came to planDisney to ask your question. There's nothing I enjoy more than talking about Disney vacations, so let's get started.
Before you get started, I recommend checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to ensure your desired dates are available. When you're ready to book your
Disneyland vacation package, you are required to pay a $200 deposit at the time of booking (price is subject to change). From there, the final balance of your package is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. The good news is that you can make additional payments along the way leading up to the day your final balance is due. If you book a package with park tickets, you will receive them four days prior to arrival.
Theme park reservations are also required to visit parks and can be made 120 days in advance. Once you've booked your vacation package, I strongly recommended securing your reservations as soon as possible.
There are many
benefits that you'll enjoy with your vacation package, including
early park entry when staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. You'll have access to enjoy select attractions, dining and shopping, 30 minutes before the park opens. This is definitely my favorite benefit when staying on property. All Guests aged 3 and over on your reservation will also receive an exclusive Walt Disney Travel Company collectible pin and lanyard. These make a fun little keepsake to remember your trip.
You've picked a wonderful time to visit the Disneyland Resort, Patricia. It's one of my favorite times of the year when all of the pink Tabebuia trees are in full bloom. The
Disney100 Celebration is also in full swing and the parks are decked out in platinum and purple decorations. Because it's one of my favorites, I have to mention that the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will also be happening during your visit. I love to eat my way through the festival and make sure I catch the flight of
Soarin' Over California, which is only available for a limited time during this festival. It's a can't-miss.
I hope this has been helpful, Patricia. If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your vacation, please come back and ask us at planDisney. In the meantime, I wish you all the best with your planning and a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Happy planning!
