I have heard in the past Walt Disney World does free dinning plans during certain times of year. How can I find out if they will be doing that promotion in years to come? Is there a newsletter I can sign up for? I plan to visit WDW in 2019.

    Hi Shaleena,

How exciting to know you are planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort for 2019. It may seem like it is a galaxy far far away, but do not worry. You are not alone! I am also thinking about when to visit in 2019!

My family enjoys the Dining Plans because it let us prepay for our meals and we do not have to worry about budgets. And if we can catch a Special Offer like a Free Dining Plan, Oh boy! Mickey always try to help us with different deals throughout the year. In years past, an offer like this has been made available for arrivals in the fall, but only Mickey knows what he will have in store for us in the future. My suggestion is to keep an eye to the Special Offers page in the early spring.

One last tip: I always recommend my friends and family to plan for a vacation based on their travel dates and budget. But also to leave a little wiggle room since these offers are subject to availability and you may need to adjust dates and/or Resort selection. Happy planning!
