I heard that the parks have planners that can help you with your visit. If this is true, how do I get in touch with them. We are coming in two months with our granddaughters.

    Hello fellow Disney traveler!

Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted to see you planning a trip with your granddaughters. Looking at your arrival date, we need to get started immediately!

There are certainly Disney travel planners who can help you with planning a visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort! I suggest that you call to speak with a cast member in Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. Before doing so, however, I do suggest that you have some idea of which Disney Resorts Collection hotels you might like and how many days you would like to visit the theme parks. My family prefers resort hotels that are within walking distance to one or more theme parks. Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are two of our favorite resort hotels because they are within walking distance to Magic Kingdom. We also prefer resort hotels with multiple dining locations including table-service and quick-service options.

Also take some time to decide how many days you would like to visit the theme parks and consider which type of theme park tickets you would prefer. When our girls were younger, we typically did standard one park per day tickets. Now that they are older, we can do theme park tickets with the Park Hopper® Option because we can all navigate getting from one park to another fairly quickly. With little ones, it was harder for our family to park hop (go from one park to another in the same day). We needed more time to enjoy each park!

Once you have some idea of the type of resort hotel you might like and the number of theme park ticket days you prefer, then call to speak with a cast member. Of course, if you simply want someone to walk you through the process, feel free to call right away! We typically stay for at least five nights and do theme park tickets for at least four days so that we can visit each park once. We always plan at least one resort day where we eat breakfast and lunch at the resort, visit the pool and do other resort activities during the day. Also review the advanced dining reservation booking window details and make a few advanced dining reservations, especially for character meals.

I hope this helps you get started. Keep up the practically perfect planning!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
