I have heard that if you park hop to Disney Hollywood then you can't ride Star wars, similarly if you park hop to Epoc you cant do Cosmic rewind. Is this true?

    Hello Jared!

I bet you are excited about your next Walt Disney World vacation! I love planning for my future Walt Disney World vacations because it gives me something to look forward to! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are two of my favorite attractions!

You will need to make a Theme Park Reservation for the first theme park you plan to enter each day, and you will have to enter that theme park before you are eligible to park hop on that day. You do not need to make a theme park reservation for the theme park that you are park hopping to as long as it is after 2:00 pm and there is availability at that park for more Guests to enter. Also, to park hop, you will need the park hopper option added to your Walt Disney World tickets or an Annual Pass.

One option is to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance through the My Disney Experience App. This Individual Lightning Lane purchase is an extra cost per person, but it is well worth it based on my experience. If you decide to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane, you can select a specific time window in the day for your Individual Lightning Lane return time. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane at 7:00 am on that day. If you are not staying on-site, you can purchase Individual Lightning Lane when Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios are scheduled to open on that particular day. You also can wait in the Standby line for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not have a standby line currently, but it does have a virtual queue which opens at 7:00 am and 1:00 pm (Guests must have a theme park reservation for Epcot to get into the 7:00 am virtual queue and you need to be inside Epcot to be able to qualify for the 1:00 pm virtual queue). Since you can't park hop until after 2:00 pm, the 1:00 pm virtual queue would not be an option for you.

I hope that you have an incredible Walt Disney World vacation!
