I have heard from others I have to be online at 0700 each park day to reserve genie+ rides. True? How likely I can get 12 people for the same time? or, at least in a window of maybe 15 minutes? Then, LL tickets are sold only at the park???

Hi Miriam! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks a bunch for sending us your question. I totally get that figuring out the different ticket options and trying to understand all the ins and outs of Lightning Lane can be overwhelming. But don't worry one bit – that's what we're here for! I'm more than happy to help you and answer any questions you have.

First,  I'm excited to let you know that now you can book all the Lightning Lane selections for your entire group in one go using the My Disney Experience app. Just make sure all the tickets are linked to your account and everyone is sharing their plans with you on the "My Friends & Family List" page. When you make the selections in the app, your entire party will be automatically included. You can even customize the list by adding or removing people if you want to split the selections for different Guests. How cool is that?

Now,  let's chat about Genie+, Individual Lightning Lanes, and Virtual Queues. Just a quick heads up, the information below is subject to change, so check out the Disney World website closer to your visit to confirm any details.

You can buy Genie+ starting at 12:01 AM on the day of your visit and make your first Lightning Lane selection at 7 AM. To make the most of your day, grab your first attraction at this time and then set an alarm for every 2 hours to remind you to book another Lightning Lane selection. On average, when using Genie+, I personally get to enjoy between six to eight attractions a day, so it's literally a lifesaver, and I can't live without it.

If you plan to enjoy Individual Lightning Lanes at Disney World, here's what you need to know. If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel or other selected hotels, you can make your first purchase starting at 7:00 AM on the day of your park visit. This includes Guests of the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, and Shades of Green Resort. For everyone else, you can make your first purchase when the park opens through the My Disney Experience app. Keep in mind that you can purchase up to two different experiences a day, but only one at a time.

The last option is the Virtual Queue for attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT and TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom. These attractions don't have a regular standby queue, but don't worry; you can join a boarding group starting at 7 AM on the day of your visit. You only need the My Disney Experience app to join the virtual queues. You can request to join a boarding group for these attractions twice a day - first at 7:00 AM, and you do not need to be in the Theme Park, and then at 1:00 PM, but only if you're inside the Theme Park. Joining a boarding group is free, but you must have a valid Theme Park admission and, if required, a Theme Park Reservation.

Miriam, I hope this helps with your planning, but If there's anything else you need help with or if you have any further doubts or queries, please do not hesitate to let me know. It will be a pleasure to help you once again.
