    I have heard you and others mention the picnic @ AKL I am a single mom with DS10 first visit in Sept. Can we get meal for 2? I have so many worries.

    Thanks for your follow-up question.  Unfortunately, from everything I've read it appears the meal for 3 is the smallest meal you can purchase for the picnic in the park.  However, I bet you aren't the only one in this situation.  If I were you, I would ask the cast members at Animal Kingdom to see if there is an alternative or smaller package you can purchase.  There may be something available that is not being advertised.  The other option would be to take the leftovers back to your resort and make another meal out of it.
