I have heard of others getting special offers to return to WDW. Is there a special way to get in on that? We visited in May 2009 & looking to return in December 2010.

    Michelle:

You may be referring to what Disney calls a "Bounce-Back" offer.  These offers are left in your room, usually on a card about 8" tall that resembles the outline of a clock.  I've found the discounts to be anywhere from 25% up to 40% for a Deluxe resort or villa.  All you have to do is make a refundable deposit and book during the dates on the offer card.  It's usually a win-win!  But the last stipulation to get the discount is that you must book before you leave.  So unfortunately, even if you had received the card offer, you wouldn't be able to book one of the bounce-back offers at this point.

For other offers, check in at the Disney website here under their special offers section of their website or to have the offers come to you, I'd recommend visiting www.mousesavers.com and subscribing to their newsletter list!  It keeps me up on all of the discounts and delivers them to my inbox.

Wishing you a magical time next December!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
