I heard that in order to reserve park entry you must pay a $200 deposit. Could you confirm please?

    Hi Lionel!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad that you found us hEAR to ask this terrific question about Walt Disney World's Return to the Magic after this unprecedented closure!

Just like the Magic Kingdom Park attraction The Barnstormer a lot of information about the reopening of Disney's theme parks is flying pretty wild depending on where you look. I can confirm that no, a monetary deposit is not required in order to reserve park entry under the new Disney Park Pass System. In fact, the only two things that guests do need in order to make a reservation are 1) a Valid Theme Park Admission, in the form of either a single/multi day ticket or Annual Pass, and 2) a My Disney Experience Account, which is what you used to send this question to us! Go ahead a make sure that your theme park tickets or annual pass is linked to your My Disney Experience account by double checking the main log-in page. If they aren't connected now, click 'Link Tickets' under the ticket icon and you'll be all set. And while you're already double checking tech things for your trip, make sure that you've downloaded or updated the My Disney Experience Mobile App.

Here is all of the official news about the brand new Park Pass Reservation System that was released by the Disney Parks Blog just today, Lionel. This source of news comes from Mickey himself, so check back hEAR often for all things relating to Walt Disney World, from the newest news to tips about simply can't-miss snacks! In fact, 'like' and 'follow' the Disney Parks Blog across all of your social media platforms so you'll be sure to not miss a single update!

I hope this helped to clEAR things up for a smooth-as-Soarin' vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth, Lionel. And if you have any more Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!!
