Hi Roderick!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Before you know it, your
Halloween on the High Seas adventure will be here, and you will be enjoying some fun in the sun with Captain Mickey! I always love the Halloween-themed voyages because in addition to everything magical about a Disney Cruise Line vacation, the added holiday-themed décor and activities are so much fun! My favorite activity is Mickey’s Mousequerade Party where the characters come dressed in their costumes!
Disney Cruise Line has recently
announced efforts in environmental conservation and those include switching to multi-use shampoo and conditioner in a refillable pump in the staterooms. Additional efforts are being made by eliminating the nightly Personal Navigator in the stateroom, since the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app really has all the information available on it! I was recently onboard the Disney Wonder and experienced this change and while at first, I was a little unsure, I realized that I always have my phone with me to take photos, so it really was just one less thing to carry! Plus, with using the app you can see the entire week’s schedule ahead of time instead of waiting until the night before! I also like being able to mark specific activities as “favorites” to receive a notification about it about 15-minutes prior to the activity. That way you don’t miss a thing! Please note that you do NOT need an Internet package to utilize the app, but rather you connect to the DCL-GUEST network onboard to access the app.
Wishing you an absolutely magical and memorable adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
