    Just heard about the new stroller size restrictions taking effect on 5/1/2019. We are visiting WDW a little later in the month and rented a Fantasy Stroller (that looks like Cinderlla’s carriage). Will these still be allowed?

    You've chosen a wonderful time for a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many new and exciting things happening at Walt Disney World. I think you will find that now more than ever, it's a great time to visit!

    It seems like you've been doing your resEARch to get ready for your upcoming vacation. As you mentioned, some updates to the Walt Disney World Park Rules and Regulations were recently announced. One notable update is that effective May 1, 2019, strollers greater than 31" in width and 52" in length will be prohibited. It also should be noted that while wagons and stroller wagons were already not permitted in the parks, this rule will also be strictly enforced beginning on May 1, 2019. Please see the full list of Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules for additional information.

    I would recommend that you contact your stroller rental company to determine whether or not the stroller you plan to rent adheres to these new guidelines. Please also keep in mind that you are welcome to use your own stroller from home as long as it meets the specified guidelines. The Walt Disney World Resort also offers stroller rentals for your convenience.
