I've heard that you need to make dinner reservations well in advance. Should I make them before we even get to Florida? Or can I do it the night before (4/19-4/23 travel dates). This would mean planning what park on each day to make the most of our time.

    Hi Kathy,

I do recommend making advanced dining reservations for your stay as soon as possible. (I am assuming you are travelling this April.  However, in the event you are not, reservations can be made up to 180 days before your arrival.) The parks and restaurants can get crowded during April, as many schools are out on Spring Break during the month, and families tend to take advantage of their children's time off when planning their Disney trips.  As such, the restaurants can be crowded and difficult to secure reservations at.  In order to ensure that your family is able to eat at the restaurants you most want to visit, and that you are seated with a minimal wait, I would suggest making reservations.  It does take a bit of pre-planning, but tends to facilitate a smoother trip once you are at Disney.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
