Hi, Jennie!
You've gotten great advice!
One of the most sought-after Advanced Dining Reservations at Walt Disney World is for
Cinderella's Royal Table, at Magic Kingdom. As such, when I knew that we just had to have an ADR for this spectacular dining venue, I called exactly 180 days prior to my resort check-in, just to be sure. Therefore, I suggest calling Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE as soon as possible; a Cast Member will be able to inform you of when your booking window will open. Keep in mind, too, that Guests may make all of their Advanced Dining Reservations for their entire stay (up to 10 days) at that 180 point. This means that you may be able to book your lunch with the Princesses for a later date in your reservation, as long as that date falls within the 10 day period. (Have several dates in mind when you call, and begin securing the Cinderella's Royal Table reservation first, no matter which day you'd like to dine there, as those reservations will be among the first to book at any given time.)
IF you are not able to secure a reservation at CRT, don't despair. You can have a back-up plan! First, consider dining at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, in Epcot's Norway Pavilion. You'll be able to enjoy a royal feast among some of your favorite Princesses there, too, and it's quite often a much easier location to get a reservation. Moreover, if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, I love that Akershus uses only 1 Table Service meal entitlement, whereas Cinderella's Royal Table uses 2.
Next, keep contacting Disney Dining online or via phone if you aren't able to secure your CRT ADR right away. As other Guests' plans change, dining reservations will be cancelled...leaving them open for YOU!
Send more questions as you think of them, Jennie; we love to help!
