I have heard that you need to allow 2 hours for dinner at the table service restaurants in the parks? Is that true? my family will be visiting WDW from August 21st for 9 days and if dinners will take us 2 hours, I need to build that into our itinerary.

    Hi Helaine!

Dining at Disney World can take as little or as long as you want.  You don't want to rush yourselves, so working in 2 hours for a table service meal is a good idea.  Especially in August when it is hot, you will welcome the break.  If you finish dining early and have some time before your next scheduled attraction or event, just relax at your table or grab a delicious ice cream from a cart and people watch on a bench.  It's always a good thing to have extra time than run out of time!

    Have a magical day!
