I have heard that Mobile Magic is no available for carriers other than Verizon. If not, is there another app I can download that will tell me where characters are in real time?

    Hi Donna!

I'm afraid that's true.  Mobile Magic is still only available for Verizon customers, though hopefully that will change in the future.

I don't know of any application that provides real time information on where the characters are located.  I think the best bet will be picking up a Times Guide when you first enter a park or by stopping in Guest Relations if you are looking for a specific character.

However, I can recommend two apps for a smart phone.  My favorite application is Lines by the research team behind the tour book "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World".  You can get more information on Lines from their website at TouringPlans.com.  The other application I like is eTicket from the independent website WDWINFO.com.  Both are packed with a lot of useful information to make your time in the park more enjoyable.  For wait time estimates, I don't think Lines can be beat!

I hope this helps!  Sorry I don't have a better answer for you with regards to real time character locations.  Write back if you have any more questions!
