Disney’s MINNIE VAN™ service caught my attention right away with the first official
Disney Parks Blog post last summer. We recently used the service every day, to and from the Disney Theme Parks for two glorious weeks as Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village, what a vacation that was!
The service is currently available at select
Disney Deluxe Resort hotels and Villas and offered through the Lyft mobile application (subject to change), which I downloaded from home with ease. Upon my arrival at my Disney Deluxe Villas Resort, I saw a prompt for MINNIE VAN™ service on
My Disney Experience mobile app. I asked the Cast Member at Lobby Concierge for assistance, who then asked for my cell phone number (my data roaming had to be activated). Soon after, the option to select a MINNIE VAN™ vehicle magically appeared in the list of available vehicles. In order to arrange for pick-up, I had to place my order outside my Disney Resort hotel Front Lobby, or just outside the Theme Park gates near the Resort hotel Bus Stops. Disney Resort Guest WiFi worked well, but I did use my data plan because I received confirmation texts from Lyft for my records.
