I have heard that the Minne and Friends breakfast may get us into the park earlier before it opens, i know it wont get us on rides but can you have breakfast in the park before it opens? so you wouldn't have to wait for the gates and big crowds?

Hello, Charisa! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. The Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn is my absolute favorite character meal at the Disneyland Resort. I gush about it all the time because I simply can't get over how many different characters you meet and how wonderful the breakfast buffet is!

You are correct that there are occasionally early breakfast reservations for the Plaza Inn that will allow Guests to enter the park before the general admission opening time. From what I have seen, the earliest reservations are usually available on days that Disneyland Park is open early for Magic Morning/Extra Magic Hour (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays). So for days when the park opens for general admission at 8:00 a.m., but opens at 7:00 a.m. for early admission, Guests can make reservations for as early as 7:10 a.m. On days when early admission isn't offered, you can sometimes book a reservation for up to 20 minutes or so before the park opens.

You don't need to have a Magic Morning or Extra Magic Hour entitlement in order to make an early breakfast reservation. When you arrive at the Disneyland Park entrance, look for a Cast Member with a sign for dining reservations, usually off to one side of the entrance gates. Or you can ask any of the Cast Members scanning tickets where people with dining reservations should go. A Cast Member will confirm that you have a reservation and will allow you entry into the park to dine.

I hope this helps clarify things for you. Have a fabulous meal with Minnie and her pals!
