Woo-hoo, Jessica!
Your question brings back such fond memories. Personally, I have tackled the epic Kitchen Sink sundae twice in my lifetime. Once I ordered it with my family, and another time it took five of my Disney Parks Moms Panel friends to consume this monstrous delight. Of course, we had to take before and after photos to commemorate the event.
The Kitchen Sink sundae at
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is an item that should be on everyone's Disney bucket list, in my opinion. When someone orders a Kitchen Sink, the whole restaurant celebrates and fellow Guests will likely cheer you on as you take on this impressive dessert. It only comes in one size so you can't order a portion that it suited to only two people. If I were you and your friend, I'd just go into the experience with the expectation that you'll do the best you can. If you can't finish the whole thing, there's no shame in that. You'll have fun whether or not the sink is empty at the end of the experience.
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, located between
Disney's Beach Club Resort and
Disney's Yacht Club Resort, is a table-service restaurant so you'll want to call (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 939-3463, in advance to make a reservation. They do accept walk-ups at this establishment. However, it is a small restaurant so you may find yourself waiting a considerable amount of time for a table if you visit during peak hours. Definitely call ahead to avoid a long wait.
I wish you the best of luck as you seek to conquer the tastiest and most festive dessert I have ever seen. Thanks, again, for a fabulous question.
Sending pixie dust,
Jill
