I have heard that it can take up to 3 hours to have your bags delivered to your room via the Magical Express. We get in at 11:00 pm. Should we not tag our bags and get them ourselves or just use the Mag. Exp. baggage pick up? Only 3 weeks to go!!!!

Yes, it can take 3 hours, or sometimes even a bit more, to get your luggage via Magical Express delivery. And yes, I have heard the occasional story about people being woken up at 2:00 in the morning to have their bags delivered to them. To prevent this, when you check in for the Magical Express bus, you could request that your bags be held at your hotel's bell services desk until the morning. (You'd have to make sure that you had any first-night essentials with you in a carry-on bag.) Then, when you wake up you could collect your luggage at the hotel.

Alternatively, you could just not put the yellow Magical Express tags onto your bags, collect your luggage yourself at the airport, and then go to the Magical Express bus for transport to WDW. The driver will store your luggage under the bus for you during your trip. This way you know that your bags aren't lost and you'll have everything you need with you right from the start of your vacation. With a late flight like yours, this would be the option I'd choose. You won't have to worry about where your stuff is or being woken up, and you'll be able to make an easier start in the morning without having to hunt down your bags.

    Hope this helps.
