I have heard that you can only have a 4 hour reservation to Galaxy's Edge. Does that mean that you have to buy a separate ticket to get in?

Bright Suns, Wes!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel on your way to the planet Batuu!

It sounds like you are ready to live your very own Star Wars adventure at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.  As a lifelong Star Wars fan, walking into this immersive land for the first time was truly a childhood dream come true for me!  You are going to have a blast taking over the controls of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.  If you have the opportunity to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you just might find yourself right in the middle of an epic battle against the First Order.  After all of that excitement, be sure to pick up a refreshing blue milk at the Milk Stand to enjoy as you explore the shops in Black Spire Outpost.

Wes, I'm happy to tell you that you do not need a separate ticket to visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.  Traveling to a galaxy far, far away is included with your admission to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Please keep in mind that under Walt Disney World Resort's guidelines for reopening, if you are visiting any time soon, you will also need to make a Disney Park Pass reservation, along with your valid theme park admission, to enter Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I think that the information you heard about Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge reservations was from when the land first opened at Disneyland Resort last year.  Once you are admitted to Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will not need a separate reservation to enter Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.  There is also no time limit to your galactic travels.  You are free to explore Black Spire Outpost for the entire time that the park is open.

Since face coverings are currently required for all Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort, be sure to check out these Star Wars face masks on shopDisney.  I ordered some for my family, and they are so comfy!  We will be wearing our face masks when we return to Walt Disney World Resort because, as the Mandalorian tells us, "This is the way."

Wes, I'm sure that you will find Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge impressive.  Most impressive.  I hope that your visit will be a day long remembered.  If you have any additional vacation planning questions, make the jump to light speed, setting a course for the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

May the Force be with you!
