I have heard such great things about the "Be Our Guest" restaurant, but I have also heard that it typically has long lines for lunch and is hard to get into. Any advice if we would like to plan to have lunch here?

Hello Laura.  Thank you for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love helping.

I am excited to hear you are considering Be Our Guest Restaurant for lunch while you are visiting the Magic Kingdom.  I ate there on Christmas Day and it was a fabulous meal, I really enjoyed what the lunch menu has to offer. Because Be Our Guest Restaurant is the newest dining location at Magic Kingdom, it is often times very busy.  To be able to eat lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant with a minimal wait, I suggest arriving at the restaurant to get in line at least 30 minutes before the restaurant opens.  I have also heard that if you wait to have lunch closer to the restaurant closing, like 2:00 p.m., the wait time can be minimal. As of right now, Be Our Guest Restaurant is open from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.  Restaurant hours can change at any time so I suggest when you arrive checking on the hours of operation for lunch.

Have a magical vacation Laura and be sure to give Be Our Guest Restaurant a try.  You'll love it.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
