Hi - I heard that the Grand Floridian offers a family portrait session which is part of the Photo Pass when you purchase the disk. Do you have any details about the image size and quality of the files and if there is a limit to the amount of photos to go

    Hi Elizabeth,

I just booked my family for a portrait session and I asked a lot of the same questions.  First and foremost, the service is NOT part of the Photo Pass.  There is a separate sitting fee.  The fee will include one hour with a professional Disney photographer at a setting of your choice.  Your can choose from locations within the parks or at some of the different resorts.  Also included with your sitting fee is a 6 x 6 proof book which is your to keep.

The quality of the digital pictures is very high.  You can purchase photos as large are 30' by 40'.  You can also purchase a photo CD that would include the files and they would be large enough for you to have your own 30' x 40' pictures printed from them.

You would be limited by the amount of pictures the photographer could take within the hour you have with him or her.  You can pay for additional time.

I would highly recommend that you speak to a representative in that department.  They can be reached at (407) 827-4265.  They will email you a contract, a price list, and samples of other family and weddings photos.
