I heard your Governor terminated the Mask Mandate in Florida. We are glad to of heard the news! I’m checking to see if Disney has hopefully ended this mask mandate. We have three groups that are planning to visit the end of May.

I, too, am glad that the mask mandates are being rolled back all around the country, Ralph. Hopefully conditions continue to improve so that we can regain a sense of normalcy in our vacations as well as our daily activities.

As of now, even though Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced statewide changes, The Walt Disney World Resort does still require facial coverings. They do continue to evaluate guidance from all of the authorities and will make changes as they feel it is appropriate to do so. One of those changes has already begun. On May 8, on-site temperature checks for Cast Members were no longer required and on May 16, on-site temperature checks for Guests will be phased out. That’s a small step towards more familiar policies, right?

I’d recommend keeping an eye on the Know Before You Go page, Ralph, for the latest updates on health and safety measures at Walt Disney World. I’m wishing your family a really great trip later this month!
