I've heard many good things about Chip and Dale's Campfire at Fort Wilderness and we'd like to experience it! This visit however we have passes to Disney but are staying off site. Are we able to go to the the campfire? Do we need reservations? Thanks!!

Hi Lori! Being a Fort Wilderness repeat guest as we have our own motor coach I can certainly tell you a bit about Chip and Dale's Campfire Singalong!

This event is held every night unless severe weather and the time will change according to season as well as daylight savings etc.  Be sure and check what the current time will be during your visit by calling Disney recreation 407-939-7529

You may bring your own marshmallows and sticks or you can purchase them once you are there. Two large campfires will be lit for everyone to enjoy and to cook from. Of course if you want to make it a real special treat don't forget the chocolate and graham crackers to make s'mores!  There will be about a thirty minute singalong with a musical entertainer. He will get the guests up and dancing and soon Chip and Dale will most likely make an appearance to help with the spirit of the evening.  Following this will be a full length Disney movie shown on the screen so you can extend your evening even more.

All guests are welcome and there isn't an admission cost for this event.  If you are driving from off property you will need to park at the front entrance.  The gate attendant will direct you to the location. From there you will need to catch the orange loop internal bus. Be sure and let the driver know you are not familiar and need to head to the Campfire Singalong so he will announce the correct stop for you.  You will then catch the orange internal bus to head back to the parking lot in the front of the resort. It is very easy but be sure and give yourself enough time so you won't be late.  Enjoy!
