Hi Robert!
September is a lovely time to visit
Walt Disney World. The Central Florida humidity is starting to drop, you can catch a glimpse of the Headless Horseman at the
Disney After Hours Boo Bash, and enjoy a new delicious dish at the
Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. You will even be able to catch one of the last displays of the
Happily Ever After Fireworks Show!
Disney continues to ramp up and open. Currently in the
Magic Kingdom, the only restaurants closed are seasonal ones- Tortuga Tavern, Aunt Polly's Dockside Inn, and the Diamond Horseshoe. These spots are typically only open during peak holiday times.
Be Our Guest is not currently serving breakfast, but is offering a full table service menu for lunch and dinner.
During your September visit, you will find the Magic Kingdom Railroad is not running due to refurbishment and the Main Street Confectionary is also undergoing some work. Check the
Day Calendar to see a list of all attractions closed for refurbishment in each park during your stay.
Expect to see construction walls up in Epcot, but overall, September is looking like a great time to visit Mickey. In fact, if I had a fairy godmother, my wish would be to be at Cinderella Castle for one of the last showings of Happily Ever After.
Wishing you a wonderful adventure!
Elisabeth
