Heard Eisner said hotel guests would get free parking in 2023! Was this just for Disney World hotels?

Hi Karen! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

Parking at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort follow different pricing and rules. Complimentary parking for hotel Guests doesn't extend to Disneyland Resort. I'm sure we all wish it did! All registered Guests at Disneyland Resort Hotels can self-park and Guests at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disneyland Hotel can self-park or utilize valet services. For self-parking and valet there is a per-night charge and pricing is subject to change.

That might not be the magical answer you were looking for today, Karen. We had a rental vehicle and paid the per-night charge at Disneyland Hotel and we also have utilized the Guest Pickup and Drop-Off Locations when we used rideshare and taxi services. It's a convenient option and depending on the length of your stay, might be more affordable than parking.

With your trip coming up soon, check out the Disney Parks Blog for all the updates on what's new in the parks. There's a lot to experience with the Disney100 Celebration underway from festive treats and décor to new entertainment.

I hope you have a magical visit!
